Komis

Komis call themselves komi voityr which means "Komi people", komi mort signifing "Komi person" and komijoz meaning "Komis". 11-15th century the Komis were called permyaks by their naghbours. By the 17th century the etnonym siryane, zyryane entered the Russian language.
